The Arkells of Hamilton, Ontario, have gone as international as they come: The group’s single “You Can Get It” – featuring K. Flay – from 2021 Flash once received the torch treatment and was requested by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the soundtrack of the Closing Ceremony film, highlighting key moments from the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games.

Powered by belief premiered at the closing ceremony on Sunday February 20 to honor the athletes who came together from around the world to compete in a dazzling display of winter sports. Zooming in on poignant emotional moments, the short film captures the resilience of the athletes and highlights the extraordinary skills displayed over the past two weeks.

The film is the latest installment of the IOC’s Stronger Together campaign, which champions the power that sport and the Olympic Games have to unite people and communities around the world, amplifying their belief in the solidarity between differences.

Arkells’ “You Can Get It” is also featured on the Forza Horizon 5 video game soundtrack – its triumphant, electrifying and larger-than-life sound simply demands to underscore fierce competition, whether on the world stage or on your couch.
