Ghost of Tsushima film adaptation gets screenwriter Takashi Doscher

In a recent report by media outlet Deadline, Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions have found the screenwriter for the film adaptation of Ghost of Tsushima.

The new screenwriter for the upcoming film adaptation of the popular video game Ghost of Tsushima is Takashi Doscher. He will join the rest of the guys who will be behind this upcoming film based on the game which has already reached the milestone of selling over 8 million copies since its launch in July 2022. The film is still in early development.

The game was developed by Sucker Punch and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It follows the story of Jin Sakai who seeks revenge and regain honor after the Mongol invasion. However, he must choose between following the traditions of the samurai or following a route where he must reject those ideals and become the ghost of Tsushima.

The one who will direct this film adaptation is Chad Stahelski. Peter Kang will be the one overseeing the project. Stahelski, Alex Young and Jason Spitz are the ones producing through 87Eleven Entertainment. Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan will produce for PlayStation Productions.
