Following the announcement in mid-March that Above & Beyond had teamed up with British film composer Darren Tate for the soundtrack of the 40-minute nature-focused documentary, The last glaciers. Filled with ambient and cinematic sound choices, the tracklist matches the panoramic views of the production like a glove.
Following director Craig Leesons’ recent and acclaimed project, An ocean of plastic, The last glaciers brings the same level of awareness to the biggest man-made problem in our environment, climate change. From Antarctica to the Himalayas, the Alps and the Andes, The last glaciers discusses the causes and effects of climate change, as well as what humanity can do to help relief efforts. “By exploring the glaciers, I hope to inspire the next generation to be the voice of change…There is still time to save our world,” says Lession.
