THE LORD OF THE RINGS soundtrack goes metal

Everyone who is someone knows The Lord of the Rings the soundtrack is perfect for just about anything. Studying? Perfect. Job? Perfect. Going into battle with the weight of the universe on your shoulders? You guessed it, perfect. And now YouTuber and musician Bradley Hall has taken that perfection to a different level and made it…Metal. This does not mean the metal version of LOTRThe soundtrack is better than the original. We would never say that. But it moves hard.

Listen here.

Hall actually plays throughout the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, a feat in itself. And it gives all of our beloved tracks a whole new sound. Although, honestly, metal or no metal, “Concerning Hobbits” still makes us cry.

Room shares:

Howard Shore’s music from the legendary the Lord of the Rings The movie trilogy has captivated me since I first heard it in 2001. It was so epic, majestic, mystical…and damn metal! I was hoping that one day someone would make a full metal version of the movies, but alas that day never came.

So, as a culmination of months of pandemic-induced boredom/frustration/craziness, I found the courage to finally do it myself! A few months later, I proudly present to you the entire The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring presented as a giant metal song!

We almost had a version of the Lord of the Rings of the Beatles. But Hall is right, no full metal version has reached us yet. Until now. But as Hall shares, The Lord of the Rings the soundtrack already smacks of metal in the mind. This rendition just helps her fully awaken a part of it that we could all be feeling.

Hall also answers an important question about his work. In an FAQ-like section of his video’s description, Hall wonders, “Is this the extended version? And then responds, “Of course!” Obviously. It wouldn’t be very metal, otherwise. Plus, Hall notes, the video should line up perfectly with the Blu-ray version of the film. For anyone who wants to watch with a metallic edge.

But unfortunately the LOTR The metal edition of the soundtrack will only contain one volume. Because Hall says he’ll never do another mix as long as this one again. Too bad because the Return of the King was made for metal. But for now, we’ll settle for “The Mirror Of Galadriel” banger.

Rock on, Frodo and company. Rock On.
